The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center is conducting a Fair Opportunity Proposal Request for follow-on production of the B-52 Nuclear Stores Interface Unit (NSIU), a nuclear-hardened line-replaceable assembly consisting of printed wiring assemblies, interconnects, and chassis. The effort requires build-to-design manufacturing and production in accordance with a Government-furnished Technical Data Package. The scope includes hardware manufacturing, electronic assembly and production, program management and systems engineering, quality assurance and production testing, data and security management, and associated logistics support needed to deliver flight-ready hardware. The anticipated contract is predominantly firm-fixed-price and is restricted to holders of the Eglin Wide Agile Acquisition Contract. The complete FOPR package, submission instructions, and evaluation criteria will be released through the EWAAC IDIQ portal; a completed DD Form 2345 is required to obtain the package.
