Roofing Materials Procurement with Recovered Materials Clause

Description
Stomata Development LLC is issuing a Request for Proposal for roofing materials that must comply with Section 6002 of the Solid Waste Disposal Act and EPA guidelines at 40 CFR part 247. The contractor must procure items containing the highest percentage of recovered materials practicable, consistent with maintaining satisfactory competition, where the purchase price exceeds $10,000 or the value acquired during the preceding fiscal year exceeded $10,000. The contractor must also procure solid waste management services to maximize energy and resource recovery and establish an affirmative procurement program for recovered materials.
