Description
This Sources Sought/Request for Information concerns a planned Stage 1 construction project for habitat rehabilitation at Quincy Bay. The work includes mechanical access dredging and dredging for overwintering habitat across approximately 35 acres, with approximately 260,000 cubic yards of material excavated over nearly 16,000 feet. Excavated material must be side-cast or hauled to designated shoreline placement sites, shaped, spread, and kept within specified limits to create topographic diversity features; selective tree and brush clearing is also required. The project also includes approximately 400 linear feet of Cedar Creek bank stabilization, including clearing, hauling, grading, shaping, placement of approximately 1,100 tons of RR3 stone with approximately 8 inches of bedding stone, and post-construction surveying. River training structures require shaping dredged material to establish specified placement alignment and orientation. Interested firms must submit a capability response describing relevant experience, business size and socioeconomic status, interest in any future solicitation, and capability to perform the work. Responses are limited to five single-sided pages and must include three references for similar projects.
