Description
Jackson State University is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from a qualified Master Planner to develop an integrated ten-year campus Master Plan for 2025–2035. The planning effort must align physical campus development with academic, financial, and strategic priorities and engage stakeholders across academic affairs, student services, facilities, finance, information technology, and related areas. The scope includes assessment of existing land use, buildings, open space, circulation, parking, infrastructure, landscape and architectural character, academic programs, enrollment, regulatory and environmental conditions, and athletic and recreational facilities. The selected firm will also develop future projections for academic and support space, enrollment, staffing, parking, infrastructure, housing, auxiliary facilities, and land acquisitions or disposals. The recommended plan is expected to address land and building use, preservation where appropriate, pedestrian and vehicular circulation, landscape and architectural guidelines, residential facilities, infrastructure, cost estimates, a capital improvement program, and phasing. Fees and pricing must not be included in the qualifications submission; detailed scope and fees will be negotiated with the most qualified respondent.
