NASA intends to exercise Option 1 under existing contracts for the Ozone Mapping Profiler Suite, Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite, Cross-Track Infrared Sounder, and Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder. The requirement is to provide long-term storage for each instrument integrated onto the JPSS-3 spacecraft, supporting a planned spacecraft launch date of September 1, 2028. This is a special notice rather than a competitive solicitation, and the Government intends to issue a unilateral modification to the existing contracts. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation demonstrating their ability to fulfill the requirement, along with descriptions of similar past experience and references. The Government will use responses solely to determine whether a competitive procurement should be conducted; verbal responses are not acceptable.
