Description
Stony Brook University Hospital is seeking proposals for the supply and installation of exterior signage and related items. Vendors who can provide equivalent products are invited to contact Richard Frenger at the Purchasing Department for a copy of the solicitation. Alternate brand names and detailed documentation must be provided for any proposed substitutes. If offering equivalent equipment, vendors must be prepared to provide supporting documentation, software, transportation, set-up, removal, and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial at no cost if requested. This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §§139 j&k (Lobbying Law), and vendors are cautioned that Richard Frenger is the only permissible contact for this procurement. Compliance with this law is mandatory, and failure to comply can result in penalties ranging from no contract to debarment. The successful contractor will be required to submit valid and current NYS Workman's Compensation and Disability Forms, along with documents related to NYS Finance Law §§139 j&k and Public Officers Law. Vendors are recommended to file the Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire online via the New York State VendRep System. The solicitation also includes specific goals for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) at 6.00%, Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) at 15.00%, and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) at 15.00%.
