Description
The California Department of General Services, Facilities Management Division, is soliciting bids for comprehensive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) services at Central Utility Plant Building 095. The three-year contract includes quarterly preventive maintenance, equipment testing and reporting, foreseeable and unforeseeable repairs, emergency repair response, and replacement of worn or inoperable parts. Services cover a Liebert (Vertiv) S600T UPS, maintenance bypass cabinet, and 80 sealed batteries. Work must be performed by Liebert-trained and certified service technicians and a California Class C-10 electrical contractor. The contractor must respond to routine repair requests within one business day and emergency requests within two hours. The bid package requires the bidder to submit the completed checklist, certification sheet, bidder declaration, payee data record, at least three references for similar work performed within the last five years, Darfur and California civil-rights certifications, proof of general liability, commercial automobile, and workers' compensation insurance, and the completed cost sheet. The contract is subject to prevailing-wage requirements and a 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation requirement.
