The City of Eudora is requesting qualifications from consulting firms to provide pre-construction engineering and project management services for improvements to Wakarusa Boat Ramp Park and its connection to Pilla Park. Firms must be pre-qualified by the Kansas Department of Transportation in applicable Work Categories 411, 241, and 441; pedestrian and bicycle facility design is specifically identified, and roadway construction inspection qualifications will also be considered. The project includes replacement of the existing Wakarusa River boat ramp; restroom, seating, and shade-structure installation; parking-lot paving; signage and pavement markings; an 8-foot-wide concrete shared-use path; sidewalk repair and rehabilitation; ADA ramps; curb-and-gutter replacement; and related accessibility and aesthetic improvements.
