Description
Monroe County Facilities Management is seeking a contractor to remove and legally dispose of the existing storefront glazing system and entrance doors at the Old Plantation Key Courthouse, also identified as the Plantation Key Community Center. The contractor must field-verify dimensions, furnish all labor, materials, equipment, permits, engineering, supervision, and incidentals, and protect adjacent property during construction. The work includes a new commercial-grade clear-anodized aluminum storefront framing and impact-resistant safety glazing compliant with applicable Florida Building Code wind-borne debris and design-wind-load requirements. The contractor must install one pair of aluminum-framed outswing doors with an active right-hand leaf, inactive left-hand leaf, two-point locking, panic exit hardware, closers, hinges, threshold, weatherstripping, and related hardware. The scope also includes demolition, debris disposal, weatherproofing, adjustments, operational testing, shop drawings and product data, applicable product approvals or Miami-Dade Notices of Acceptance, a project schedule, and manufacturer and workmanship warranties. Quotes must be submitted electronically through the county's Bonfire platform; email, mail, and hand delivery are not accepted.
