Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting support and sustainment for the Sniper Comprehensive Advanced Targeting Pod (CATP2) during Option Years 6 and 7. The scope includes program management, systems engineering, production and fabrication, pod and platform integration, configuration management, testing and test support, hardware and software enhancements, agile software sustainment, cybersecurity, obsolescence and diminishing-manufacturing-source mitigation, logistics, field service engineering, depot-level repair, spares and repair parts, technical manuals, training, supply-chain management, and contractor quality-system activities. The requirement supports fleet availability and reliability targets, including a 90% fleet availability rate and a 428-hour Mean Time Between Maintenance Events target. The contract is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity follow-on effort with two one-year options, covering 18 December 2027 through 17 December 2029 for the option years. The Government intends to negotiate a sole-source award to Lockheed Martin Corporation, CAGE 04939, although responsible sources may submit capability information or proposals for Government review. Foreign participation at the prime-contract level is prohibited. The solicitation includes fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee line items for availability support, repairs, field service engineering, upgrade kits, software sustainment, engineering, development, spares, cybersecurity, data, and related support.
