Description
The U.S. Army's Search Track Acquire Radiate Eliminate Project Office is conducting a Sources Sought/RFI for follow-on production and engineering services for the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS). The anticipated requirement is a seven-year multiyear, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with production of up to 20 radars annually, plus annual task orders for engineering services, system integration and checkout support, interim contractor support, and new equipment training. The scope includes associated hardware, software, firmware, inspection, systems integration, logistics support, depot maintenance, spares development, program and configuration management, software development, product assurance, performance verification, hazardous-material and obsolescence management, safety, testing and evaluation, technical documentation, and related training support. First Article Inspection, environmental stress screening, product acceptance, configuration audits, and highly accelerated life testing may be required. Respondents must demonstrate manufacturing capacity, relevant experience, the ability to reverse-engineer or independently develop and qualify a compatible radar without a government-provided technical data package, and the ability to meet the required initial delivery window. A U.S. corporation and a secure manufacturing facility approved at the Secret level are required. Responses are limited to 15 pages and must be unclassified.
