Description
The Ohio Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to provide labor, materials, mobilization, installation, and maintenance of traffic for 13 high-visibility pedestrian crossings associated with the Conotton Valley Active Transportation Plan. The work includes ODOT Specification 644 thermoplastic pavement markings using longitudinal crosswalk bars at locations in Bowerston, Leesville, and Sherrodsville. For bidding purposes, each crossing is to be assumed to contain five longitudinal bars, each 6 feet long by 24 inches wide, for a total estimated bar length of 390 feet. The contractor is responsible for maintenance of traffic and traffic control and must include all costs required to complete the work. Award requires a valid OAKS ID/OH|ID registered with the State of Ohio, and the solicitation is identified as an MBE set-aside requiring active MBE certification at closing.
