The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT), through its Human and Social Digital Services division and in partnership with the Department of Human Services, intends to enter into an agreement with SAS Institute Inc. for up to 14 months under MNIT and SAS Master License Agreement No. 55313. The agreement would provide SAS Extended Technical Support for the existing SAS 9.4 environment, which has entered limited support status, restoring Severity 1 and Severity 2 technical support for two production environments. The posting states that purchasing the support through a third party would nullify the master license agreement, and that no other vendor can provide the services without affecting that agreement. This is a sole-source procurement; the posting explicitly says it is not a request for bid or proposal and does not require submissions.
