Description
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency intends to renew its annual membership in the Interstate Mercury Education and Reduction Clearinghouse (IMERC), a consortium of twelve states staffed by NEWMOA. Membership provides technical and programmatic assistance concerning mercury-added products and state mercury education and reduction programs. Services include coordination on mercury laws, product notifications, bans and phase-outs, labeling, collection systems, public education, and waste management; management and public access to a mercury-added product database; responses to information requests; technical assistance and recommendations regarding exemptions, alternative labeling, collection plans, and compliance; and coordination of related subcommittees. This is a single-source posting notification, not a competitive RFB or RFP, and the posting states that no submission is required.
