Description
This is a Sources Sought notice and Project Labor Agreement request for information, not a solicitation for bids or proposals. The Navy is conducting market research for two design-bid-build construction projects: a containerized, earth-covered weapons magazine with supporting mechanical buildings and an emergency generator; and a high-bay Conventional Prompt Strike weapons maintenance and storage facility. The projects include substantial site, structural, utility, security, and building-system work. The combined construction magnitude is anticipated to be $100 million to $250 million. The Navy seeks capability information from eligible small businesses, including contractor information and bonding capacity, plus three to five relevant construction projects demonstrating the specified size, scope, and complexity experience. Responses must use the attached Contractor Information Form and Project Information Form, include a capabilities statement, and address the attached PLA questionnaire. Large-business submissions will not be considered. The notice states that the projects are new procurement and do not replace an existing contract; no contract award will result from this market survey.
