Description
NASA Langley Research Center seeks a PerkinElmer dual-range mid-infrared/near-infrared Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometer system, brand name or equal. The system must measure across 14,700 to 350 cm⁻¹ on a common platform, switch automatically between MIR and NIR without moving the sample or exposing internal optics to air, and meet detailed performance, stability, accuracy, precision, and signal-to-noise requirements. Offerors must document compliance with the requirements using published specifications, technical literature, and/or test data. The acquisition includes required power cords and cables, a Windows 11-compatible computer workstation and monitor, instrument-control and data-analysis software, an ATR accessory, an NIR reflectance accessory, and a compatible 60 mm NIR spinner accessory. The system must operate without Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or an internet connection. The contractor must provide either on-site installation and system checkout or sufficient written installation instructions, along with manuals, calibration and performance-verification documentation, and a minimum one-year manufacturer warranty. Quotes will be evaluated on a lowest-price technically acceptable basis. The period of performance is 30 days after receipt of order.
