Description
The City of Marietta is soliciting proposals for the design-build construction of a covered dumpster enclosure at approximately 90 Hansell Street. The project will accommodate up to nine typical front-load 8-yard dumpsters and must allow garbage trucks to enter, retrieve, empty, and replace the dumpsters. The contractor is responsible for permits, architectural and engineering drawings, demolition, construction, and a concept rendering. The work includes demolition and removal of existing curb, sidewalk, asphalt, brick paving, and related materials; construction of a concrete slab, footings, ramps, CMU walls with brick and split-face block finishes, metal gates, a shed-style metal roof, drainage improvements, a 100-amp electrical service, and three floodlight wall packs with photocells. Proposers must also provide an alternate design for a 13-foot-wide by 54-foot-long enclosure. The proposal must include a project timeline, cost, concept drawings/renderings, qualifications, previous similar construction experience, and references, along with Exhibits A, B, and C when applicable.
