Description
The U.S. Coast Guard intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Aqua-Chem for proprietary technical support of the reverse osmosis system aboard the USCGC Reliance. The Statement of Work requests one day of onsite support from a systems engineer to troubleshoot programmable logic controller (PLC) issues and restore the system to full functionality. The primary performance date is November 3, 2026, with November 10 and November 17 listed as alternate dates. Additional parts are excluded; if needed, Aqua-Chem is to provide a separate quote. This is a notice of intent and market research, not a request for quotation, and responses to the notice alone will not result in a contract. Interested firms may submit a written capability statement demonstrating equivalent technical capability, including company and business-size details, a point of contact, and a technical narrative with documentation supporting equivalency. Pricing must not be submitted.
