Description
This Sources Sought notice requests market-research information from companies capable of performing dockside repairs to the USCGC Reliance. The anticipated work includes renewing or repairing couplings, boilers, pumps, piping, plating, and sensors; cleaning and inspecting heat exchangers and tanks; overhauling steering gear; flushing systems; and checking propulsion shaft alignment. The contractor would provide the facilities, materials, equipment, and personnel needed to perform the work at the cutter’s home port. The anticipated period of performance is 56 calendar days, from May 18 through July 12, 2027, subject to change. Respondents are asked to describe their capability and intent to submit a future proposal as a prime contractor, identify their business size and any applicable small-business status, provide supporting certification documentation when claiming such status, and submit relevant past-performance information. This is a sources-sought/RFI notice, not a solicitation for proposals or quotations; no contract award is being made through this notice.
