Description
Hydro-Quebec is soliciting proposals for complete roof rehabilitation at the mechanical workshop of the La Tuque generating station. The work includes full removal of the existing waterproofing assembly and installation of a new roofing system compliant with the contract documents, the Association des maîtres couvreurs du Québec (AMCQ), and manufacturer requirements. The roofing work must be performed by an AMCQ member. The scope also includes temporary works, protection measures, waste management, access arrangements, lifting equipment, and all incidental work required for safe and complete project delivery. Associated mechanical and electrical work includes replacing and connecting ventilation equipment, required electrical modifications, roof-drain connections, control-system adjustments, and commissioning. Bidders must submit a valid occupational health and safety evaluation report to be eligible to bid. The solicitation also requires a valid RBQ licence, a Quebec Construction Commission number, an execution program, ISO 9001 certification, and registration in the AMCQ quality program.
