Description
New Mexico State University is posting a sole-source pre-award notice for $1,132,812 in seed funding contributions to the After Sloan-V (ASS) Survey. The survey is a next-generation, dual-hemisphere spectroscopic program using optical-to-near-infrared spectroscopy to study time-variable and transient phenomena, map the Milky Way, examine stars and gas in the Milky Way and nearby galaxies, and investigate the origins of chemical elements. The stated period is October 31, 2026, through October 31, 2030. The notice invites companies that believe they can provide an equal or greater service or goods to submit their reasoning and detailed qualifications or specifications for consideration. Challenges must be submitted in writing within 15 calendar days of posting.
