Description
Dakota County is seeking a contractor for a two-year elevator inspection, maintenance, and repair agreement covering hydraulic and traction elevators at multiple county facilities. The scope includes preventive maintenance, routine examinations, lubrication, adjustments, parts and repairs, annual pressure tests, ANSI A17.1 one-year and five-year tests, electronic reporting, maintenance logs, and performance monitoring. The contractor must provide 24-hour callback service, including emergency response within one hour, a dedicated mechanic for at least 14.5 hours per month, supervisory examinations, quarterly meetings and reports, stocked or rapidly obtainable replacement parts, and compliance with applicable codes and ADA requirements. The quote must include annual lump-sum pricing for 2027 and 2028, monthly facility-level pricing, and hourly rates for additional repair services. A Certificate of Insurance is required before work begins, with specified general liability, professional liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, and network security and privacy liability coverage.
