Description
The Georgia World Congress Center Authority is soliciting competitive proposals from experienced firms to provide comprehensive landscape services for the Savannah Convention Center. The scope includes mowing, edging, watering, fertilizing, weed, pest, and fungicide control, pruning, ground-cover and shrub maintenance, tree care, mulching, irrigation-system operation and monitoring, seasonal turf care, aerification, overseeding, renovation, marshalling-yard upkeep, and debris removal across the campus grounds and terrace areas. The contractor must provide a weekly crew and one experienced gardener with a vehicle on site five days per week for at least 40 hours. Requirements include monthly inspections and service reports, annual soil and turf-tissue sampling, a detailed 12-month maintenance and quality-control program, dedicated equipment, and coordination of separately quoted services such as seasonal color, mulch installation, bush-hogging, and approved irrigation repairs. The initial agreement term is approximately two years from execution, with three consecutive one-year renewal options. Proposals must include organizational, financial, experience, staffing, operational, insurance, reference, and qualification information, including at least five qualification references and a notarized Statement of Proposer's Qualifications. Communication is restricted except through the Issuing Officer or permitted solicitation channels.
