Description
Greenville County is soliciting proposals to remove and replace approximately 880 linear feet of existing concrete sidewalks at Shoeless Joe Jackson Memorial Park. The work includes approximately 350 linear feet of 8-foot-wide sidewalk with welded wire mesh, concrete apron curb ramps with red truncated dome mats, removal of two 4-by-6-foot brick walls, fence or gate modifications, and root removal; approximately 250 linear feet of 5-foot-wide sidewalk with a red truncated dome mat; and approximately 280 linear feet of 5-foot-wide, 6-inch-thick sidewalk. Existing materials must be removed and disposed of off site. Proposals must include company qualifications, at least three project references, an understanding of the scope, a proposed work sequence and schedule, business licenses and certifications, insurance certificates, pricing, and required electronic questionnaire responses. A 5% bid bond is required with the proposal; the successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds totaling the contract price. The work must comply with applicable accessibility requirements and other stated construction, safety, insurance, and licensing requirements.
