Description
New Kent County is seeking a wholesaler to provide annual requirements for unleaded gasoline, on-road diesel, off-road low-sulfur diesel, No. 2 heating fuel oil, and propane for county government and public school facilities. The scope includes maintaining fuel availability for normal and emergency operations, automatic tank replenishment, emergency on-call deliveries, spill cleanup, fuel caps, and tank-maintenance software. The bidder must have a fuel storage facility within 50 miles of New Kent, Virginia, and must use its own fuel-hauling trucks. Bids must include firm pricing based on the specified OPIS rack average plus or minus a fixed differential, qualifications and financial capability information, similar public-sector contract experience, subcontractor information, a signed availability and compliance statement, and the completed vendor data and bid proposal forms. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
