Description
Sarasota County is seeking a qualified supplier to provide ethanol-free mid-grade unleaded gasoline for County-owned vessels on an as-needed basis. Fuel must be supplied from at least one waterfront marine fueling facility capable of accommodating County vessels, with adequate dockage and safe access. Fuel must be available seven days per week, 365 days per year, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. County personnel will transport vessels to the facility; fueling may be performed by County staff or the contractor. The County anticipates approximately 8,000 gallons of annual usage but provides no quantity guarantee. Pricing is to be submitted as a percentage markup over the contractor's supplier cost per gallon. The contractor must comply with applicable fuel-storage and dispensing laws and provide pricing documentation with invoices. The contract is anticipated to have an initial three-year term, and the total quote may not exceed $150,000 per project or contract year. Required insurance includes workers' compensation, commercial general liability, business automobile liability, and pollution liability coverage.
