Description
The project involves removing and replacing the existing tower lighting and adding lightning protection at Berman Tower. The contractor must provide the labor, materials, tools, and related work needed for completion; light fixtures are supplied by the owner for contractor installation. The bid includes a base item for complete lighting replacement, and bidders must submit prices for the base bid and additional items to be eligible for award. Bids must include the required bid proposal pages and executed bid documents, including the contractor certification, contractor bid agreement, and apprenticeship or training program certification. A 5% bid deposit is required as a cashier’s check, letter of credit, or bid bond. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds and required insurance after award. The contract documents also require acknowledgment of issued addenda in the bid package.
