Description
The Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Bloomington seeks proposals from emerging developers or development partnerships to develop a four-acre property on the 8600 block of Xerxes Avenue for affordable homeownership. Applicants should demonstrate commitment to affordable housing, financing capability, and local market knowledge; experience with similar small-scale affordable projects is desirable. Emerging developers without completed new-construction projects may qualify based on experience in adjacent fields such as construction or real estate. Partners must be able to contribute at least $30,000 in equity. The HRA may pursue additional funding and invest in the site. Proposal documents are available through the project’s Bids&Tenders page.
