Description
Goodhue County is seeking a contractor to provide snow plowing, snow removal, and deicing salt application at the Hader Park & Ride on CSAH 8. During snow events, the contractor must mobilize twice daily, perform final cleanup and salt application within 24 hours after each event, push snow into designated piles, and respond within four hours when the County determines that snow or ice maintenance is needed. The County will handle pile removal as needed. Respondents must provide separate hourly unit prices for snow removal and deicing salt application, including mobilization, salt, fuel, insurance, employee wages and benefits, and miscellaneous costs. A description of the proposed equipment must be included. The quote period runs from the date of signing through June 1, 2027. Insurance coverage and a certificate of insurance are required with the quote, including $2 million public liability and property damage coverage, workers’ compensation coverage, and $2 million automobile public liability and property damage coverage when applicable.
