Description
The Town of Barnstable is offering a three-year license for temporary use of the Cape Cod Gateway Airport's Grass Overflow Parking Lot. The licensed property is intended for a proposer's passenger-vehicle parking business, with a maximum of 120 vehicles identified in the RFP. Commercial trucks, boats, recreational vehicles, commercial equipment, vehicle repairs, vehicle washing, and activities that could create flight hazards are prohibited. The property is offered in an as-is condition, and the licensee is responsible for its own equipment, permits, operations, maintenance, and compliance with airport and applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Proposals must include a non-price technical proposal, staffing and work-plan information, proposed use and economic-benefit narratives, at least five references with contact phone numbers, similar-project information, proof of financial solvency, and the required cover, non-collusion, state-certification, price, and bid-table materials. The license requires substantial insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, excess liability, and pollution liability. Subcontracting use of the property is not allowed.
