Description
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration seeks a new, unused bench-top single-quadrupole inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer system for its color certification program. The requirement is brand-name-or-equal and specifies a hyperbolic quadrupole mass analyzer, collision/reaction cell, autosampler, advanced dilution system, thermoelectrically controlled spray chamber, chiller, pumps, gas regulators, inert sample-introduction components, Windows-based control software, Microsoft Office modules, color laser printer, consumables, spares, and initial qualification materials. The contractor must provide a turnkey system with delivery, on-site installation, user familiarization, three days of application and operator-maintenance training, method transfer, testing, and documentation. A one-year manufacturer warranty with unlimited on-site problem-resolution visits is required, along with optional three-year service agreements covering parts and labor; the solicitation's pricing schedule also lists four option-year line items. The system must meet detailed sensitivity, precision, interference-removal, automation, software, and data-system requirements, and delivery is required within 60 days of award.
