Description
The City of Arlington seeks a development partner to collaboratively evaluate, plan, design, finance, develop, construct, and operate an affordable multifamily housing project. The current planning concept is approximately 76–100 units, including about 26 permanent supportive housing units, though the City welcomes recommendations on project scale, unit mix, design, ownership, and site-control structure. The City has allocated $3,250,000 in HOME-ARP funds for affordable rental housing development and $645,604.40 for supportive services; Low-Income Housing Tax Credits may also be part of the financing strategy. The selected partner is expected to support predevelopment, feasibility analysis, financing, design, community engagement, and development planning, and potentially lead financing, construction, lease-up, and long-term operations after approvals and agreements. Responses should describe the development team’s qualifications and relevant experience, preliminary project vision and approach, financing knowledge, public-agency and stakeholder experience, legal disclosures, and references. The City is not requesting a fully developed project plan or final design at this stage.
