Description
Lamar County Schools is soliciting a contractor to remove three existing Mitsubishi heat-pump outdoor units, six four-way cassettes, and two wall-mounted air handlers, then provide and install three new A2L R-32 Hitachi VRF systems at Bellevue Elementary Cafeteria. The replacement systems include three 6-ton, 208/230V three-phase heat-pump condensers; six 2-ton four-way cassettes; two 2.5-ton wall-mounted air handlers; and controllers and accessories. The scope includes using existing drain lines, line sets, and electrical power; supplying miscellaneous connection materials; refrigerant charging; vacuum and pressure testing; factory start-up and commissioning; transporting removed equipment to the on-site maintenance shop; debris disposal; and repairing installation-related building damage. The contractor must be Hitachi-certified, hold valid EPA certification, and possess an active state contractor license. Pricing must be itemized for removal, equipment, installation, materials, testing, commissioning, and warranties. Required warranties are 10 years for parts, 10 years for compressors, and one year for labor.
