Description
Jasper County is soliciting bids for construction of 0.089 miles of bridge and approaches on County Road 35 under Local System Bridge Program Project No. LSBP-31(22). The work includes mobilization, clearing and grubbing, bridge removal, excavation, roadway construction, surveying, right-of-way markers, guardrails, traffic control, signage, and related roadway items. Bridge work includes pile testing, 14-inch prestressed concrete piling, pre-formed pile holes, precast concrete slab units, precast concrete barrier rail, precast concrete caps, precast concrete wings, riprap, and geotextile. Erosion-control work includes agricultural limestone, fertilizer, seeding, sod, silt fence, wattles, riprap, and related materials. The contract time is 100 working days. Bidders must submit a certified check or bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid, and the award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder based on published quantities.
