Description
Montana State University Parking Services is soliciting bids for on-call, as-needed vehicle towing and recovery services. The contractor will provide towing for state-owned vehicles, impounded evidence vehicles, stolen vehicles when the owner cannot be contacted, habitual parking offenders, and vehicles creating traffic hazards. Services include towing from parking lots, garages, and confined areas, as well as impound lot storage and standby services for events. Towing must be available Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for parking-related tows, and 24/7/365 for law enforcement-related tows. The contract will be awarded based on a cost proposal covering various towing levels, hookup fees, mileage rates, and additional services such as winching, traffic control, and cleanup, with evaluation considering company experience, ability to meet specifications, and cost. The contract term is from execution through September 30, 2028, with possible renewals up to seven years total.
