Description
The University of Guelph is seeking a cardiac ultrasound system for the Ontario Veterinary College Health Sciences Centre's cardiology service. The system must support comprehensive echocardiographic examinations for companion animals ranging from less than 1 kg to more than 100 kg, with occasional use for large animals, avian species, and exotic species. Required capabilities include high-resolution 2D, M-mode, Doppler, tissue Doppler imaging, advanced speckle tracking, 3D/4D echocardiography with flow quantification, DICOM compliance, PACS integration, and a compact mobile design. The requirement includes a broad range of transthoracic transducers, a veterinary-compatible 3D/4D transesophageal probe or multiple probe sizes, and echo analysis and reporting software supporting offline study review, cardiac measurements, structured reporting, DICOM import, and up to five additional user licenses. The proposal must address system specifications, warranty and service, delivery and installation, pricing, and demonstrations or interviews if requested. The selected bidder will negotiate an agreement with the University, with the contract remaining in effect until completion and acceptance of the deliverables.
