Description
The National Park Service requires a firm-fixed-price supply contract for sand material used to maintain an off-road vehicle ramp. The base requirement is 2,000 cubic yards delivered to Ocracoke Ramp 72 at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, with options for an additional 2,000 cubic yards and 1,500 cubic yards. The sand must meet specified gradation and material-content requirements, be sourced locally to the Outer Banks, contain no invasive species or organic material, and be supported by independent-laboratory sieve-analysis testing before delivery and after approximately half the material is delivered. Deliveries must use vehicles capable of traversing the unpaved ramp and must be coordinated with the Ocracoke ferry schedule. The contractor must provide delivery receipts, maintain delivery records, and submit required product data and samples.
