Description
The 5th Contracting Squadron at Minot Air Force Base intends to negotiate a sole-source, firm-fixed-price commercial contract for high-speed internet and Wi-Fi services throughout the base's dormitories. The requirement includes continued use of existing proprietary fiber-optic infrastructure, in-unit media centers, Wi-Fi routers, fiber jumpers, and outside-plant fiber connected to dormitory demarcation points. SRT Communications, Inc. is identified as the only known source because it owns and operates the existing infrastructure. The notice is not a formal request for competitive proposals or quotes; other responsible sources may submit written capability statements demonstrating that they can meet the requirement without unacceptable transition delays, service disruption, or duplicative government costs.
