Description
Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking a contractor to provide labor and materials to remove and replace an evaporator coil in an existing Trane HVAC unit. The contractor must supply a new factory Trane coil, expansion valves, filter driers, R410A refrigerant, piping, accessories, ductwork, sealer, fasteners, and any required crane or mechanical lifting devices. Nitrogen purge and leak testing are required, and all materials must be new. The unit may be shut down Friday at noon and must be operational by Sunday evening for normal Monday operations at 3:00 a.m. Work must be coordinated with college maintenance, performed during approved after-hours or weekend periods, and include debris removal and protection of adjacent areas. The award will be made to one responsible and responsive bidder offering the lowest total bid price.
