The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to issue a single-source contract modification to Allen Corporation of America under the existing Flight Program Participant Training Services Contract 6973GH-21-D-00004. This action will provide a 3-month base period with two 1-month option periods to ensure continuous, uninterrupted support for critical training services. This short-term extension is necessary to maintain service continuity while a follow-on contract is being awarded. The training services are vital for the FAA's Aviation Safety workforce, ensuring personnel remain current and qualified for certification and oversight functions. A lapse in these services would negatively impact the agency's ability to serve aviation industry applicants and stakeholders.
