Description
This Sources Sought notice is for market research only and will not result in a contract award. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is assessing qualified small and large businesses for a potential design-build construction project supporting improvements to a range in the Irvine, California area. The estimated project magnitude is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The anticipated work includes installation of a 225-kVA transformer and 600-amp main distribution panel; geotechnical investigation, slope stabilization, drainage, and erosion-control construction; rehabilitation of approximately 30,000 square yards of pavement through milling, asphalt repairs, subgrade stabilization, hot-mix asphalt paving, compaction, and striping; renovation of two commercial restrooms; domestic-water pressure improvements to achieve 60–70 psi; and construction of a concrete range pad, walking paths, reinforced firing lanes, lead-collection-system connections, and lane markings. Respondents must submit a capabilities statement of no more than 10 pages addressing company information, UEI and CAGE code, business size and socioeconomic status, bonding capacity, relevant projects completed within the past five years, ability to work in Southern California, personnel able to meet FBI security requirements as U.S. citizens, and interest in serving as the prime contractor.
