This opportunity involves the licensing of ReactorCast, a custom-developed system dynamics software platform designed for strategic nuclear workforce planning and analysis. The platform models and integrates strategic decisions and investment considerations with workforce requirements throughout the lifecycle of nuclear programs, from initial planning to decommissioning. It provides real-time analytics and visual dashboards to track workforce flows and assess the impact of policy, regulatory, and investment decisions on workforce development. ReactorCast addresses critical business strategy questions for executives, investors, and leaders, such as assessing talent availability for specific regions or technologies, understanding the impact of technology choices on long-term staffing costs, and comparing the human capital implications of different reactor technologies (e.g., large light-water reactors versus small modular reactors). The underlying modeling methodology was developed at Los Alamos and has been licensed to the IAEA for international nuclear workforce planning workshops. The software features a modular, extensible design, supports local deployment on secure, non-cloud infrastructure, interfaces with external data sources, and provides outputs including workforce opportunity projections, gap analyses, and scenario-based deployment comparisons.
