Description
Dixon Unified School District is soliciting proposals for several technology requirements associated with Funding Year 2027. The scope includes bundled standalone internet access and firewall service with bandwidth between 2 Gbps and 5 Gbps, with no transport required; approximately 5,000 feet of internal cabling at four district locations; seven Ruckus-or-equivalent switches with necessary software and licenses; and managed internal broadband services for seven existing Ruckus equipment units. Installation and initial configuration are required for the listed Category One and Category Two services where specified. The internet service is expected to have a one-year term, although the district may consider a multiple-year agreement for price stability. The district has issued separate RFPs associated with the LAN infrastructure, LAN equipment, and managed internal broadband service requirements. Questions must be directed to the district consultant, and direct communications with district personnel during the procurement process are prohibited.
