Description
The Town of Cedar Lake is seeking professional construction engineering and inspection services for the reconstruction of 133rd Avenue between Colfax Street and Robin Drive. The project will raise the roadway and install a box culvert to alleviate flooding, with construction engineering and inspection identified as the included phase. The selected consultant must submit a Letter of Interest addressing firm qualifications, key staff, project approach, capacity, technical understanding, cost-containment practices, innovative ideas, and confirmation of a site visit. The Letter of Interest is limited to 12 pages. The estimated construction amount is $820,158.48, funded 80% federally and 20% locally, and the contract will continue until project completion. The required prequalification categories include environmental document preparation, project management, topographical survey data collection, title search, roadway design, appraisal, bridge design, right-of-way plan development, and construction inspection.
