The Town of Cedar Lake is soliciting letters of interest from qualified consultants to provide preliminary engineering and related services for the Cedar Lake Trail, which is intended to connect pedestrians from the Town Grounds northeast to Lemon Lake County Park. The project includes preliminary engineering, right-of-way, and related services for a federally funded project with 80/20 funding. Required prequalification categories include environmental document preparation, project management for acquisition services, topographical survey data collection, title search, non-complex roadway design, appraisal, appraisal review, Level 1 bridge design, right-of-way plan development, and construction inspection. The Letter of Interest must address firm qualifications, key staff, workload capacity, project approach, technical understanding, cost containment, innovation, and confirmation of a project-site visit. The Letter of Interest is limited to 12 pages. The contract term is until project completion. The DBE goal is 0%; the provided Affirmative Action Certification is required only for items with a DBE goal greater than 0%.
