Description
Metro Water Recovery is seeking a qualified investment advisory firm to provide comprehensive advisory and active portfolio management services for its approximately $150 million investment portfolio. The scope includes investment research; continuous evaluation, sale, and reinvestment of portfolio assets; transaction execution; compliance monitoring; monthly accounting statements; quarterly performance reporting; asset valuation and net asset value calculations; and benchmark-based performance measurement. The advisor must support annual or requested presentations to the Board of Directors, assist with audit and Governmental Accounting Standards Board reporting, advise on bond proceeds, reserve funds, and capital improvement funds, and review the investment policy at least annually or when regulations change. Firms must have at least five years of continuous experience serving public entities or similar government agencies, demonstrated fixed-income portfolio experience, experience advising Colorado governmental entities, registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and Colorado Division of Securities, and must acknowledge a fiduciary role. Proposals are limited to 12 pages excluding specified components and must include a transmittal letter and executive summary, company background and at least three similar client references from the past five years, proposed capabilities, team resources and resumes, and a five-year annually itemized price proposal.
