Description
The City of West Richland is soliciting sealed bids for the S. Highlands Boulevard and Keene Road Intersection Improvements Project. Work includes excavation and embankment compaction; crushed surfacing; hot-mix asphalt paving; traffic signal and illumination systems; asphalt removal; concrete sidewalks, curb, gutter, and curb ramps; storm drainage improvements; landscape restoration; pavement markings; permanent signing; and removal and resetting of permanent signs. Groundwater is anticipated, and dewatering is expected to be a significant construction challenge. Bids must be submitted on the City’s furnished forms and accompanied by a bid proposal deposit equal to 5% of the bid amount, in the form of a surety bond, cash, certified check, or cashier’s check. Small, minority-, women-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids.
