Description
The City of Alhambra is soliciting sealed bids for a public works project on Sierra Vista Avenue. The work includes removing seven existing manholes, constructing four new manholes, and replacing approximately 1,100 linear feet of existing 8-inch vitrified clay pipe sewer with 10-inch vitrified clay pipe at the same line and grade. The contractor must complete the construction within 120 calendar days after the effective date of the City's notice to proceed. Bidders must use the approved proposal forms, submit a sealed bid, provide a bid bond of at least 10 percent of the bid amount, hold the required contractor licensing and registrations, and comply with prevailing-wage and apprenticeship requirements.
