Description
Beal City Public Schools is soliciting bids for summer renovations across several trades. The project includes work in concrete, masonry, carpentry, roofing and siding, glass and glazing, plastering, flooring, painting and wallpapering, curtains, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical, and miscellaneous metal work. The solicitation specifies separate prime contracts for different bid divisions. A pre-bid meeting and project walk-through will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM local time at Beal City High School. Bids are due by 11:00 AM local time on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, and will be opened publicly at that time. Proposals can be submitted via mail or delivered in person to the Beal City Public Schools Administration Office or electronically through BuildingConnected. Virtual attendance at the bid opening is also available via Microsoft Teams. A bid security of five percent (5%) of the base bid is required, which can be in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or money order. Successful bidders may be required to furnish surety bonds as stated in the Project Specifications. All bidders must also provide a familial disclosure statement and an Iran Business Relationship Affidavit.
