Description
This is a request for information to support market research and acquisition planning for a handheld spectrometer. The draft salient characteristics specify an X-ray tube with a rhodium anode, silicon drift detector, removable lithium-ion battery, touchscreen display, environmental protection, built-in pressure correction, Linux operating system, removable storage, USB ports, and aiming and panorama cameras. A standard three-year warranty is specified, with optional accessories including a field stand, soil foot, holster, probe shield, weld mask, hot heel, and carrying case. Responses are voluntary and are not quotes or proposals. Respondents are asked to provide product input, indicate whether pricing is GSA or open market, and identify small-business status and any applicable socioeconomic concerns.
